Australia Matches France Gold for Gold at IWC 2015

At Charles Rose Wines we are into awards. They are great ways of showing you the quality and pedigree of the products we sell. They demonstrate the fact we did our homework, and that we want to offer you the best products.

The International Wine Challenge (IWC) is one of the ones we look for. Established in the 1980s it has a reputation for producing sound judgements, particularly after it was acquired by William Reed (as stated by Jamie Goode in 2006). Our own Beronia Reserva 2009 was awarded gold in 2013.

Well, for the first time in over 30 years of IWC awards France has had it’s gold haul equalled by another country. Thats right, Australia has made IWC history! France still took the most medals overall in the first part of the 2015 awards. However, Australia is clearly a serious challenger for the top spot!
